second part in the tutorial sorry about the delay ive just quit smoking so i have been trying to kill everyone in my path for the last few days, anyway back to work
i will post the final part tomorrow after i have taken photos from all angles any question just ask
now for the second coat on the armour plates this time i used a 50:50 mix of vallejo Prussian blue and GW Kabalite green
all the flesh parts ie is mournfang brown with a Nulin oil wash i wanted a really dark dirty animal hide look with this i tried going with a contrasting blue like i did with the Daemon Prince but it just didn't look right at all.
and finally GW Khorne red for the base of the ectoplasm cannons i reversed th colours on all the cables on the underside and tail also in Khorne red
I like it. Again, this model looks much better out of the box and codex. Hope to see one in person so I can decided if I want to buy one to paint up.
ReplyDeleteI understand about wanting to kill people when quitting smoking. Quitting is easy. I've done it 27 times. All kidding aside. Great, good for you! Do you physically feel better yet? You're going to have extra cash for food now.
yeah doing loads better now not craving so much, and I would recommend anyone to get one of these it is a joy to paint and build I would model it slightly different if I do another one in the future
