Alpha Legion Forgefiend tutorial/WIP part 3

Here is the final part in the forgefiend tutorial so lets pick up where we left off.

For the ectoplasm cannons i first gave them a wash with Tamiya clear red with a tint of back to darken the recesses, the next layer is vallejo model color red, painted on the raised parts leaving some of the khorne red showing. the next layer is vallejo scarlet once again leaving some of th previous layer showing lastly is a thin line of lugganath orange from the GW Edge paint set, No to blend all the layers and get the glowing effect take a small drybrush and use the scarlet  really sparingly this will give a nice effect on other panels as OSL

Same method was used on the underside 

All the armour platers were highlighted with warpstone glow just to lift the armour

the final highlights were GW skrag brown on the face and cannons, GW leadbelcher on the teeth, lasher tendrils an edge highlights on the armour
GW Balthazar gold on the smoke stacks and tips of the lasher tendrils and last of all clear red on all the cables and tail
